What to Expect
A structured 4-week online group programme combining psychoeducation, group discussion, and practical exercises for members dealing with anxiety. Weekly 90-minute sessions, small group (max 12), all sessions recorded.
Schedule
- Week 1 (90 min)
Understanding Your Anxiety
Psychoeducation: what anxiety is, how the fight-or-flight response works, and mapping your personal anxiety profile. Introduction to the cognitive model.
- Week 2 (90 min)
The Cognitive Triangle
Identifying your personal thought-feeling-behaviour cycles. Learning to catch and challenge anxious thoughts using thought records and evidence-based questioning.
- Week 3 (90 min)
Body-Based Techniques
Practical skills: diaphragmatic breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, grounding techniques, and the 5-4-3-2-1 sensory exercise. Group practice and discussion.
- Week 4 (90 min)
Your Personal Anxiety Toolkit & Relapse Prevention
Consolidating everything learned into a personalised anxiety management plan. Identifying early warning signs and creating a prevention strategy. Group reflection and farewell.
